I have a '00 Chrysler Concord and I am 2700 miles over due for an oil change.?

I use a synthetic blend. I've been meaning to get an oil change but need to know if Its somthing I do asap, lets say tomarrow or later in the week. How much damage could this cause.I have a '00 Chrysler Concord and I am 2700 miles over due for an oil change.?Well.. If by over due you mean 2700 miles beyond the standard 3000 miles you're fine. Synthetic doesn't break down as quickly as your standard oil so the 3000 miles doesn't apply. Synthetic is good for about 5000 miles without problems.

If by over you mean you've already accounted for the synthetic lasting about 5000 miles and you're now at 7700 miles since your last oil change then yes you should get your oil changed.

I wouldn't worry too much about damage, get your oil changed sometime this week and you'll be fine.I have a '00 Chrysler Concord and I am 2700 miles over due for an oil change.?No big deal if you've otherwise been doing regular oil changes, just get it done as soon as you can.I have a '00 Chrysler Concord and I am 2700 miles over due for an oil change.?This is always a question that gets different answers. I have used full synthetic oil since 2000. I always have run it for 5K miles between changes and have never had an oil consumption problem or any other mechanical using this change interval. Some manufacturers state that you can get 10K miles using synthetic but I think this is pushing the outer limit. Essentially it never breaks down, but does pick up contaminants as it is circulated through the engine. Since you are using a blend then you should not exceed the manufacturers service interval, but you are probably OK this one time.I have a '00 Chrysler Concord and I am 2700 miles over due for an oil change.?by using a synthetic blend you should be able to go to 3,000 miles between changes with no problems........just insure you are not low on oil until you change it!I have a '00 Chrysler Concord and I am 2700 miles over due for an oil change.?you shouldn't,t be asking for the answer you already know ,when in doubt get it done.if you need to ask it's time.if no time make time,,,it's cheaper than buying a new motor.
