How do i locate a drain plug on a lawn mower? my nephew poured water into the oil compartment and i need to know how to find drain plug on a push mower..Locating the drain plug for an oil change on a lawn mower.?the easy way is to tilt the mower on it side and the oil will drain out, don't forget to replace it with new oil, hope this helps.Locating the drain plug for an oil change on a lawn mower.?the drain plug is under the mower deck.Locating the drain plug for an oil change on a lawn mower.?It will be located in one of two places. Either under the mowing deck, there will be a hole in the deck and a plug in the motor showing through the hole, or
There will be a plug sticking out the side of the motor near the deck.
If it isn't in one of those two places, then the model you have doesn't have an oil drain and you will have to tilt the motor on it's side to drain the oil out of the same hole you put the oil in. Make sure you drain the gas tank first or you will have gas spilling out of the gas tank.Locating the drain plug for an oil change on a lawn mower.?it should be located under the mower deck.

What is the best place to get an oil change?
I hear walmart and pep boys were really bad places to go.
One more question: How much will it cost to do some minor touch up paint on my 08 nissan 350z? The color is red, I don't know the specific kind of red. Touch up like a minor scratch on the bottom and a dot like scratch on the left driver door? What is the best place to get an oil change?Oil changes are not hard ,one bolt at the bottom of your oil pan ,drain all oil out ,replace oil filter ,put bolt back in and add 5 quarts 5w30 motor oil and drive away!!!
Now for them annoying scratches , go to your nearest Nissan dealership and find out what color red it is and get a small bottle of that color and fix it yourself!!!
With this knowledge you can save a bunch of money!!!What is the best place to get an oil change? As you can see it's not necessary to criticize the brand of car people choose to drive.
The very best place for an oil change is a new car dealership and or a private garage or shop. Avoid fast quick oil change places like the plague! Too many disastrous mistakes, molasses working liability insurance when they screw-up and you really don't wind up saving a dime!!
If you decide to take your car in to the Nissan dealer for the oil change he'll be able ot pull the paint code off your car and match it to a small bottle of touch up paint that can be applied like a fingernail brush and a felt tip pen.
You'll make out fine! What is the best place to get an oil change? If you own an old piece of **** car, take it anywhere and hope the high school drop out forgets to tighten the oil drain plug.
With a nice ride, the dealer is the only place I would take my car.
They check for open recalls, keep records of your maintenance, and will take care of you with a customer %26quot;good will%26quot; warranty if you are unlucky and have problems after your factory warranty expires.
I've been a Master Tech at many different franchises over 25 years and believe me, fast lube joints are not for the person who takes care of their investment. What is the best place to get an oil change?Sadly I found even the quicky lube can't do it correctly (and that's all they do).
So sadly the BEST place is the dealer or your own garage.
===
I do my own change because the Jiffy lube kept on screwing things up. And the R%26amp;S Strauss was the same. I really thought that they were such easy work they could NOT screw it up.
MAN I WAS WRONG.
===
Not only that, a Los Angeles TV stations did an expose and found that most quick lube places did NOT do the work at all - as promised. So you would drive in and drive out with the same dirty oil and filter. That's so F-ed up.
Good Luck...What is the best place to get an oil change?I take my 06 acura to the dealer for the oil changes. They check it out and have fixed minor things that are under warranty. My tsx is red and I got the touch-up paint from the dealer. The dealer gave it to me free but I think it cost no more than $11.00. I do not mind waiting for them to do the oil change. I read the newspaper, watch tv or use my laptop (most dealers have wireless)What is the best place to get an oil change?Change you oil yourself. It is easy, takes about 10 minutes, and you are not sitting around for an hour and paying too much.
As for paint, again, do it yourself. I am sure the dealer has the proper color and a little touch up paint. What is the best place to get an oil change?Firestone. {Next time I do mine you better give me a free oil change} Sorry for spams.help with flat screen tvs affect income tax return

On average how much does it cost to get an oil change on a BMW?
... and is it expensive for the maintenance? Looking to buy a car and I'm not sure which car to go with: Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and loving the BMW right now but which car is cheaper to service? My girlfriend has a mercedes and she just told me the other day her oil changes were over 100 dollars. What do you think? On average how much does it cost to get an oil change on a BMW?over $100 because of where she goes.... heck, walmart will do oil change on mercedes for @$30
btw, those are great cars (have owned 3)...
i have had 2 beemers %26amp; both were exact same model, just different years - one was awesome %26amp; the other was piece of junk... not sure why but the quality between the years (4 years apart) was amazing....
i have never owned one (would like to %26amp; probably will be next car) but from all my research Honda has the best purchase price to resale value + mpg + the absolute best overall quality...
i do know that parts %26amp; repairs would be much higher for a beemer or mec, but i was mechanical so i always did most myself although oil changers were done just like any other car at jiflube or whatever.. for an example the high beams went out on one of the beemers %26amp; just the part (a circuit board) would have cost me $150 %26amp; then more for labor - i got out the solder iron %26amp; redid the board myself for @$1... makes a big diff if you can do things yourself or not... of course that may depend on warranty too, so you should look at who has best %26amp; longest - i am guessing its HondaOn average how much does it cost to get an oil change on a BMW?The average cost for a BMW oil change should be the same as any car. How difficult is an oil change in a 2009 Toyota Sienna? Does one require a special tool?
I have the filter parts, but I'm not sure if I need a special tool to remove the canister. How difficult is an oil change in a 2009 Toyota Sienna? Does one require a special tool?We have owned 5 Toyotas from brand new during the past 20 years and currently own Toyota Sienna XLE and Toyota Highlander 6 cylinder AWD.
DIY oil changes save a lot of money but sometimes can be messy. There are no special tools other than a 10mm and 14mm socket, oil filter wrench, oil drain pan and knowing order on what to remove in order to reach %26amp; remove the filter. Also I recommend you inquiring and knowing which local service stations or area recycling facilities accept used motor oil.
Additionally I recommend always using genuine Toyota oil filters and don't forget to drain the ATF fluid every 25K to 30K miles.

if you go to any parts store ask them what you need to do a oil change they can fix you up
pretty easy job really cost you a little more first time to get every thing youy need but after ward cost wil be almost same as if you take to any shop would be but knowing how to care for your cars thats worth it allHow difficult is an oil change in a 2009 Toyota Sienna? Does one require a special tool?you're only gonna save $10-20 by changing your own oil. if you are having to ask how to change your oil, you are better off paying someone to do it. check your owners manual, you can go 5,000 to 7,500 miles per oil change.
you will need:
5quarts of oil
1 oil filter
wrench to remove oil plug
pan to catch oil, and way to dispose of the oil
oil filter wrench
washer fluid
funnelHow difficult is an oil change in a 2009 Toyota Sienna? Does one require a special tool? You can recycle the used oil at most chain auto parts stores. Get a set of rubber gloves, a proper size pan plug wrench (usually 17 or 19mm) a catch pan and a funnel. You don't need to type anything into the %26quot;search bar%26quot; as suggested by the non-mechanic. That is his answer for everything. You can pour the used oil into a used (clean) milk jug to take for recycling. How difficult is an oil change in a 2009 Toyota Sienna? Does one require a special tool?PLEASE LISTEN!!! You need a specific filter wrench that can be purchased at your dealer's parts counter. It's the same wrench for all Toyota cartridge filters and must be used to avoid damaging the housing. You can buy the filter wrench at any auto store, but I don't know the way they are sized, I just get mine from the parts counter. It has a 3/8 drive and your drain plug is 14mm. A 14mm 3/8 drive socket, the filter wrench, and a 3/8 drive ratchet are needed along with a 3 inch 3/8 extension for the filter wrench. It's a little recessed on the 2GR, which is the engine code for the 3.5 V6 in your van, and using the extension will give you access to the filter housing. Remember to replace the rubber gasket on the main part of the housing. There's a drip hole with a 3/8 female end located in the center of the filter housing, but you should not bother removing it. So, your filter should have had two gaskets included, and you will only be using the larger gasket for the housing. Put some clean oil on the gasket before re-installing the filter housing with the new filter inside. This prevents the gasket from tearing and prevents you from losing all your oil. There's also a drain plug gasket that you can get at the Toyota parts counter. This should also be replaced with every oil change. You can buy them in bulk at Toyota so you don't have to go back each time. This makes it sound much harder than it is. After the first time, you'll know what you're doing, just don't undershoot when refilling the oil. Depending on the vehicle, the 2GR takes somewhere between 5.25 and 6.25 quarts. It should say in your owner's manual what the capacity of your engine is. Good luck, and feel free to contact me with any specific questions about your van.
