Please help! I'm starting a little business w/ cars: an at-your-home service oil change, etc? tagline, other?s?

My plan is to offer a service where I will be going to people's homes to change their oil at a discounted price. I will provide the oil and disposal and the whole idea is that it will be convenient for ppl and cheaper! They get to choose the type of oil and oil change they get. I'll also be offering other services such as lubrication, tire gauge check, air, vaccuum, repairs (broken side view mirror, etc) BUT i'll mainly be advertising the oil change.

soo..i have some questions and I would appreciate any help, thank you! These are my questions:

1) What's a good tagline? I'm so bad at this, but I'm thinking %26quot;have your oil changed at the convenience of your own home%26quot;..id like something that's more catchy though

2) how can i establish credibility and trustworthiness? i don't have a certificate, but i've been working with my/family's/friends' cars for years.

3) What title would sound best (most official, most professional)? In other words, what can I call myself? Professional Oil Changer? (I also do other things, so idk about that...) I need a good title, pls help!

4) How much should I charge for my services?

any other advice? thank you so very much!!Please help! I'm starting a little business w/ cars: an at-your-home service oil change, etc? tagline, other?s?First: Research what the professional oil change services charge in your area. Set up your charge to be somewhat less. You can do that because you don't have a heavy overhead in building and rack rental. You probably will have to buy a ramp to drive their car up on to change the oil, cost of containers and cost of oil disposal. Think about the other costs and set your price schedule accordingly.

Secondly: %26quot;tagline%26quot;? I think you mean %26quot;business slogan%26quot; for advertising purposes. First I'd get a business name. %26quot;John's Home Auto Service%26quot;, then figure out the slogan... %26quot;Save Money, Let John Do It%26quot; comes to mind.

Thirdly: Print up some flyers announcing your new service. Stress it's cheaper and more convenient for you to come to them than they to go to the oil change place and include your lowest price (and make sure you indicate that some changes are more expensive... include something like: %26quot;From 99-cents up%26quot; or the Price and the word %26quot;up%26quot; by it. Pass out the flyers everywhere you can, cars in parking lots at Wal-Mart, on outside advertising boards, Craigs List in your local area (that's free)...

There's more work involved than just going out to change someone's oil and charging them for it... it's called %26quot;the wonderful world of being in business for yourself%26quot;.

Good Luck! Please help! I'm starting a little business w/ cars: an at-your-home service oil change, etc? tagline, other?s?The EPA will be watching you like a hawk and you will need a lic to haul the oil.Not easy to get that kind of a license.Good luck
